soooo im am in yearbook at the moment listen to the idiots talking about what they wanna write on the blog... ahhh i really dnt know what to put . +[ well my day is ok i ate so i guess im full . i feel psycho . ummmm christinas's annoying me , brittany's vocie is killing my ear , chen swears he knows everything , andrez is such a lame , kimmys is such a flipping diva ahhh, junior chat tooo much , erica one likkle confusing likkle girl , and last and least monque need a next crew . yehhhhh..... christina's shoes are ugly ,andrez fava one battyboy, chen one high basterd , kimmy model wanna be behind , erika duty rass . junior still chat too much ... alrite im done hating . didnt have anything better to write. oh and i love the ones i jus hated on . conde sunshine head ahhh lol .

Love and Soccer

There lived a girl next door named Terry. She had just moved from Florida to west Cali. She was one of the best players on her soccer team . Leaving her team was disappointment to her and her family. Kevin noticed a moving truck in next door . He went over to greet Terry's family . Everyone said hi except for Terry. 2 years past and Terry had joined her high school soccer team . Kevin was on the boys soccer team also . The big game was coming up and everyone went to see Kevin play. Seating aside the Field a girl asked terry to hook her up with Kevin, SEE Kevin was the cutest boy in school so every girl wanted to go to the spring fling with him . Terry later told Kevin what the girl had said and being cocky he gave a big smile. Later that night at the spring fling Kevin and the girl were dancing on the floor Terry didn't have a date . Because her focus was on soccer she had no time to associate with boys . That's what everyone believed. The truth was she had her eye on one boy and he was Kevin. Will she tell him how she feel would the love for the two thing she was interesting in the most combind .................

"I'M not a video game You can't put me on pause then play me . Disappearing for a week Then coming back calling me your baby . Jumping down my throat bout the lil I do . But you been gone for all this time how do I know you being true I guess you went on a mission for some 'crunch' or some 'good' . That's why you had to spend a week in the hood . If you would've have called everything would have been all good . Guess them pills you been popping don't have you acting the way you should . Got me sitting in this damn house looking stupid .Wish I never got shot by that damn angel called cupid . Just know that I'm sitting in the living room Waiting for you to come chill Just so I can tell you The way I feel. "

POST 14 NOSOCOMIAL INFECTION

A diagnosis of nosocomial infection indicates that the patient’s normal line of defense has once
again been compromise. Hospitalization of any aged person increases the risk for them to have
a urinary indwelling catheter, which predisposes them to a nosocomial urinary tract infection.
Nurses are responsible for placing and maintaining the urinary catheter system. Including
cleaning and other tasks. Routine care of the catheter is often delegated to nonlicensed
personnel. Inadequate placement and care from the beginning may contribute to increased
infection rates

Standardizing the education, training, and orientation of new nursing staff on proper urinary
catheter placement and care can have an impact on patient outcomes. Assessment of current
staff competency and reeducation is a time- consuming and costly venture but is essential to
ensure continuing skill of nurses in urinary catheter care. (Lippincott, Williams, & Wilkins, Inc.
2006). Hence the Betty Neuman System Model primary prevention (health promotion) is
where the stressor has not penetrated the normal line of defense and has not produced any
signs and symptoms. (Neuman, 2002).

Mrs. Wilson is a 35 year old secretary been divorced for 3 years and has two sons;

she has some superficial slashes on her wrists. History and Physical reports states that

Mrs. Wilson has become more and more depressed after terminating a 2 year relationship

with a married man 4 weeks ago. For 3 years after her divorce, Mrs. Wilson talked

constantly about not being pretty or not good enough and doubted that anyone could

really love her. She is about 20 pounds overweight stays awake late into the night

drinking by herself and watching television, she sleeps through most of the day on the

weekends. I started to assess Mrs. Wilson, today she is dressed in a wrinkled blouse,

skirt stained, dirty socks and wears no sneakers.

Bowen family systems theory is a theory of human behavior that views the family as an emotional unit and uses systems thinking to describe the complex interactions in the unit. It is the nature of a family that its members are intensely connected emotionally. Often people feel distant or disconnected from their families, but this is more feeling than fact. Family members so profoundly affect each other's thoughts, feelings, and actions that it often seems as if people are living under the same "emotional skin." People solicit each other's attention, approval, and support and react to each other's needs, expectations, and distress. The connectedness and reactivity make the functioning of family members interdependent. A change in one person's functioning is predictably followed by reciprocal changes in the functioning of others. Families differ somewhat in the degree of interdependence, but it is always present to some degree.

Recently his life and art were used to create a full length ballet production of the Little Dancer of Fourteen Years. In the early 1870’s the female ballet dancer became his favorite theme. His intension was to capture classically perfect movements, spontaneous, unselfconscious gestures preserving such movements for posterity. He sketched from a live model in his studios and combined posses that depicted rehearsals and performance scenes. When the dancers were actually engaged in ballet, they often exhibited questionable technique however, standards have changed and what was acceptable then is frowned on today. One of his most famous works of art is The Little Dancer of Fourteen Years 1880-1920. This small bronze figure conveys the nervous discipline of a young dancer.


The position of her arms, drawn straight down and clasped behind her back, articulate the fragile bones of her chest and shoulders; the forward thrust of her head strains her facial features, blurring the lines between rendering and realty.This sculpture was exhibited in his life time and received mixed reviews. In Paris in 2003 Degas’ most famous stature, The Little Dancer, came to life in the ballet production, in the perfect synthesis of classical music, classical art highlighting harmony of line and continuity of the human form in the ballet combining the expressions by Degas the artist in his drawings and sculpture were presented in the ballet production. The culmination of all these forms of art would have pleased Degas greatly.

Interrelationship of the arts occurs because artists share the same purpose; the revelation of values and this sharing encourages their interaction (Martin & Jacobus, 2007). The relatively equal combination of two or more artistic forms as seen by the painter and sculpture Edgar Degas spent a great deal of his life producing great works of art depicting ballet dancers. He was born in 1834 to a wealthy Franco-Italian banking family, consequently he was not among the starving artists of his time and he had the freedom to pursue his vocation unencumbered by debt. He had the unfailing support of his family. He was a shy, insecure, aloof young man whose self portrait depicted a veiled look of mannerist inwardness, devoid of narcissism unlike the works of his contemporary 19th century painters. He gave up his face for other faces that fascinated him, ballet dancers in particular.

Nothing escaped his eye for the texture of life and the gestures that reveal class and work. He is often considered an Impressionist but his work sometimes goes in the more classical and realist direction in which he was trained. Five of the six rooms in the Metropolitan Museum of Art dedicated to Degas depict the theme of ballet. As a matter of fact, he did about six hundred images of ballet dances during his life time. He made art from things that no other artist had used before; the way a discarded dress, still warm from the naked body, keeps some of the shape of the wearer, the unconcern of a dancer, scratching her back between practice sessions, the tension between two dancers, stage performers and dancers in their dressing rooms.

Bowen's family systems theory, when applied to nursing management, offers an explanation of why problems experienced by individual team members affect the function of the entire work group. Bowen proposes that each member of a family plays a part in the way in which family members relate to each other and in the way in which the family's problems surface. Similarly, each member of the work environment influences the group functions and manifestations of work problems. The same patterns that exist in families may be present in work relationships. Members of a work group spend a significant portion of time together and build emotional relationship systems similar to those of a family.


Although the work group does not share all the characteristics of a family system, there are several salient features that these two systems have in common. Examples of these shared characteristics often are emotional features passed from one member of the work team to another that tend to resemble the relationship patterns in a family. Often, members within the work environment look to their colleagues as they look to their family to provide affection, support, loyalty, and emotional fulfillment. Work relationships may be emotionally intense, as are the relationships in the work member's nuclear family. Bowen's concepts 2 can be used to guide nurse management interventions and provide the nurse administrator with a useful framework on which to base management practices.

As healthcare delivery assumes a team approach and interventions are distributed among multiple disciplines, the nurse administrator frequently is the one expected to lead the team players. The administrator is expected to take charge, be a responsible role model and a competent mentor. The role is not unlike that of a parent in a family, where each member has different development tasks and responsibilities, yet each looks to the parent for guidance and leadership. As with parenting, the nurse administrator's job may be laden with uncertainty, anxiety, and other emotional reactions.

As nurses work toward improving their administrative skills, they may benefit by increasing their understanding of family patterns and dynamics that are applicable to their work setting. The purpose of this article is to apply the concepts of one family development theory, Bowen's family systems theory, to nursing administration. Nurses may be aided in their administrative role by viewing interactions among the members of their organization similarly to interactions within a family.

FIRST YEAR OF SCHOOL

My first day of school i saw this cute boy named Gio . I had the biggest crush on him but for some reason he kep hanging out wit this girl named samantha. When recess came i ran over to them and asked if i could play . She quickly answered and said no . I was soooo maddddd. I went home later that night and Diana Ross was on t.v. singing stop in the name of love. After dinner my mother sent me up stairs to take a bath. I started singing stop in the name of love . Right then and there i thought of Gio and made my own version ." Central Is She

She goes by the name Central . Lost , confused , and fearful she stands . Everyday would be a new situation in her world . Torn between lonely and careless she could not decided .Lonely wanted to be loved . He saw her as his savor taking him away from the place he called alone . He needed a home full of love , cares and ambition to stay and never walk away . So with sympathy she decided to give a chance . Things went good for a while but suddenly they changed . Central and lonely would never be the same . Their pages were never the same number . Eye to eye came no closer. Central then lost interest and was captured by careless. Because he never cared , in a strange way central was caught . She saw something in him that no one else seen . She felt like the challenge to his heart would be rather intriguing .She has always had it easy dealing with guys . But careless was a prize she wanted to earn . So therefore she made her move .Careless gave her the opportunity to make him compassionate . The job was not easy but she accomplished her goal .Careless was hers . Unfortunately she once again came into contact with lonely . Because of his sweetness she gave him another chance after all his was quite the gentleman. But a friendship was all she wanted . Lonely insisted on making it more .She became caught up and feared that careless would realize her a fear with lonely . Once again she broke lonely 's heart . She chose careless . Lonely decided to be alone once more . When will he ever find a happy home . Miserable She now becomes dealing wit the careless ways of careless . She reaches out for lonely but tired he stands of her lies and misleads . Central left in a world that surrounds her with disappointing faces .
